Special Budget Meeting 10-30-2014

                                 October 30, 2014 7:00 pm

         Budget Special Electors Meeting and Special Town Board Meeting

Special Town Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Lyle Cherry, present were Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 29 members of the public (see list). Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski explained the changes from 2014 to the 2015 Budget. Board had asked for the levy to be increased by $150,000 over what the state would allow which was $383,595 or a total levy of $533,595. Mill rate would increase from $2.58 per thousand to $3.58 per thousand of valuation. Discussion was held for over 1 hour, vote by raise of hands was 9—aye, 21—no, zero--abstain. Motion by Pete Pfankuch to keep the levy at the state allowable levy of $383,595 with no increase. 2^nd by Ken Marcusen, carried.

Motion was made by Jack Manlick to approve the Highway Expenditures for 2015 at $ 395,068 this includes garbage expenses and payroll, 2^nd by Pete Pfankuch, carried.

Motion by Joe Pethan adjourn at 8:18 PM 2^nd by Jack Manlick, carried.

Town Board Meeting was called to order at 8:20 PM. Motion by Tarmann to accept the Budget for 2015 (Revenues & Expenditures of $594,180.00), 2^nd by Mueller, carried.
