And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting

Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.

Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller, Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 10 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Mueller to approve the agenda, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Mueller to approve the minutes of July 5, 2016, Regular Board Meeting , June 9 & 28, 2016, Special Meeting , 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $252,504.06. Checks issued were #20728-20773 for $33,207.20, electronic debit of $3,169.02. Deposits of $14,209.42. Tarmann made motion to approve the financial report, 2nd by Mueller, carried.

Public comment: Cheryl Winzenried asked about golf cart use in the township. Ken Marcusen asked about a dog problem on Serenity Drive.  

Motion by Mueller to approve Class B Beer & Liquor license for Faye McKay DBA as the Rustic Bar & Supper Club N7900 Noquebay Rd, Crivitz, WI 54114, contingent on passing of Fire inspection, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.

Bramble Lane, a shared road with the Town of Porterfield, Porterfield is asking for help with cost of repair. After touring the road, the board will discuss at the next meeting.

Computer for Public Works Dept will be purchased from North Computer Service as long as the price has not gone up a lot. Last computer purchased was in the $750 range. Discussed different alternatives to our current internet provider. Wild Blue & Hot Spot were suggested.

Road Commission will meet on August 22, 2016 at 7:00PM. Participants include Miles Kresl, Gary Langer, Mark Vanderzee, Dean Zempel, Ken Marcusen. Board members can attend, meeting will be posted.

Mueller made a motion to follow state statutes to do business up to $5000. Anything over $5000 must be posted to the public and over $25,000 must be bid. 2nd by Tarmann, carried.

Planning Commission reported that Todd Polzin requested moving the fence on Pit Lane to the road, Board will leave it at the road right of way. Discussed Wiedemeier Sawmill progress.
