And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting

Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.

Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller, Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 6 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Mueller to approve the agenda , 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Tarmann to approve the minutes of September 6, 2016, Regular Board Meeting , September 12, 2016, Special Meeting with Road Advisory Committee, September 27, 2016 Budget workshop, September 29, 2016 Turnout for Transportation 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $265,634.05. Checks issued were #20855-20902 for $78,426.55, checks #20852, 20853, 20854 & 20880 were voided, electronic debit of $2,912.07. General Transportation Aids were received for $34,175.04. Tarmann made motion to approve the financial report, 2nd by Mueller, carried.

Public comment: Discussed damage to new asphalt on Hilldale Road due to lack of shouldering by the company that did the blacktop and farm implements driving on the shoulder. Scott Construction will be contacted to fix the damage since the shouldering was not finished in a timely way. Farmers in the area will also be contacted. Cheryl Winzenreid asked about her neighbor’s fire number being on their property, requested that it be moved.     

Motion by Banaszak to approve the contract with Crivitz Rescue Squad for 2017 for $2,361 2nd by Mueller, carried.

November 1, 2016 will be the date of the next Regular Meeting.

Discussed hiring a deputy clerk, duties of the clerk & treasurer. Looking for a job description & hours for a deputy clerk. Will continue this discussion in the next months.

Internet service for the Town Hall was discussed. Cellcom’s service is intermittent. Discussed other options, Hughes Net, Centurylink, Wild Blue. Decided to contact Hughes Net.

Banaszak made motion to approve the Resolution to Exceed the Levy set by the state at $389,997 by $100,000 to $489,997, 2nd by Tarmann. Roll call vote: Banaszak-Yes, Tarmann-Yes, Mueller-Yes. Carried. Special Town Meeting & Budget Hearing will be held Thursday November 3, 2016, 7 PM.
