         Budget Hearing & Special Electors Meeting & Special Town Board Meeting

Special Town Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairman Dan Banaszak, present were Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 15members of the public (see list). Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski explained the changes from 2016 to the 2017 Budget. Clerk explained that the town would be receiving a grant from the state for the TRID program for Ferndale Road for $147,000, the town will have to match the grant monies, so the board is requesting to exceed the levy by $100,000. The budget monies also include the grant monies. The rest of the annual budget is unchanged.      

Motion was made by Ken Marcusen to approve the Highway Expenditures for 2017 at $521,471 without payroll, 2^nd by Robert Claycomb, carried.

No changes to salaries of Town Board.

Motion by Kathy Claycomb to exceed the 2016 Tax Levy allowable by the State by $100,000, 2^nd by Ken Marcusen, vote 19 ayes, 0-Nays, 0-abstain. Carried.

Motion by Robert Claycomb to adopt the town levy for 2016 at $489,997, 2^nd by Andrew Neumann, carried. 19-ayes, 0-nays, 0- abstain. Carried.

Motion by Katherine Just to approve construction of the Public Works Building at W6202 Loomis Road not to exceed $350,000 amoratized over a 10 year period at 3% interest annually, 2^nd by Ken Marcusen. 18-ayes, 0- nays, Mueller-abstained. Carried.

Motion by Travis Mueller to adjourn Special Electors Meeting carried.

Town Board Meeting was called to order at 7:20 PM. Motion by Tarmann to accept the Budget for 2017 (Revenues & Expenditures of $849,346), 2^nd by Mueller, carried.
