  2. Approval of agendaA motion to approve the agenda by T Mueller , seconded by C Sotka and carried.
  3. Approval of meeting minutes from December 5, 2017 Regular Town Board MeetingA motion to approve the minutes from December 5, 2017 by C. Sotka , seconded by D Banaszak and carried.
  4. Approval of Treasurer’s financial reportA motion to approve the financial report by T. Mueller, seconded by C Sotka and carried.
  5. Public Comment.Dan Marcussen said someone stole the slow moving sign by the old dump.
  6. Planning Commission Report  None                          
  7. Review & approval of Land Surveys None.
  8. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators) 2 liquor licensesNadine Markiewicz 2. Terri Lynn May for Loopy’s Bar. A motion to approve Nadine Markiewica and Terri Lynn May for Loopy’s Bar by C.Sotka , seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.
  9. Approval of list of Election Officials for 2018 & 201.1. Sue Wieting A motion to approve Sue Wieting as an election worker for 2018-2019 election by T. Mueller. seconded by C. Sotka and carried.
  10. 2018 Rural Insurance renewal & quote on 2018 Workers Compensation Insurance (Jim Pickett presented the renewal of insurance for the liability, auto and personal property for buildings.A motion to approve Rural Ins for Business Owner for 12, 127, and for Rural Ins Workers Compensation for $4603, seconded by T Mueller and carried.
  11. 2018 Nature’s Edge Building Inspector contractA motion to approve the 2018 Building Inspector contract by C Sotka, seconded by T. Mueller and carried.
  12. 2018 updated building inspector feesA motion to approve the updated building inspector fees by C Sotka seconded by D Banaszak and carried
  13. Health Reimbursement Arrangement effective 01/01/2018A motion to approve the HRA (People Keep)provider for the 2018 year by C Sotka , seconded by T Mueller and carried.
  14. Update Employee HandbookA motion to include 11(a) HRA (PeopleKeep) by C Sotka, seconded D Banaszak and carried.
  15. Refund of duplicate of property tax. A motion to refund the duplicate personal property for 152.55 by C Sotka, seconded by T Mueller and carried.
  16. Title 9 Public Utilities - Chapter #1 Broadband Resolution - Rep Jeff Mursau suggested to have a public meeting to speak with providers and members of the Town of Lake, to talk about towers, etc to ask for suggestions from community members that would be beneficial to a provider whether it would above ground or underground.A motion to approve the Title 9 Public Utilities, Chapter #1 Broadband Resolution byD Banaszak seconded by C Sotka and carried. Abstaining was T Mueller.

  18. Public Works Road Report Rick Olive was absent.

  20. Correspondence Penny Chaikowski commented the county is going to rearrange the number of committees      for the upcoming year and she will be running for the 2018-2019 election. Jeff Mursau, birch poles- people are stealing young trees for resale issue in state. Senator Tiffany working on navigability of streams because of     damage . Working with rescue squads for training of recruits and testing for rescue squad volunteers,      under 20,000 population should not have take national registry test. Jeff Mursau also stated that he will be      running for election for the 2018-2019.
