And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting
Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.
Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Lyle Cherry at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Cherry, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller, Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 6 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Mueller made motion to approve the agenda, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Mueller to approve the minutes of January 6, 2015, Regular Board Meeting, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $1,033,904.08. Checks issued were #19794-19839 for $568,356.00 and electronic debit of $4,119.62. Additional $682,916.45 had been collected in property taxes. Mueller made motion to approve the financial report, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.
Motion by Tarmann to approve a liquor & beer license for Mul-Tan Enterprises, Tiffany Tanck,-- agent for The Hawk (formerly Mohawk Restaurant), to be prorated to $100 for March 1 to June 30, 2015. Second by Mueller, carried.
Motion by Mueller to approve Operator’s Licenses for Cassandra McVane and Rachel Frazier for Timberline Resort Bar & Grill, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Both have completed Beverage Server requirements.
Discussed a street light at the corner of Loomis Road, cost would be $23.62 per month for 3 years. Decided to try arrow signs from both directions for the time being.
Discussed new road projects for 2015, primarily Ferndale from Porterfield Lake Road to corner by Tom & Mary Nelson. Public Works will contact the Railroad to see if they can fix the crossing on Ferndale Road.
