Pledge of Allegiance
- Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00p.m. Present was Banaszak, Sotka, Tarmann. Mueller was absent.
- Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Sotka, seconded Banaszak and carried.
- Approval ofmeeting minutes from June 5, 2018 Reg. Town Board Meeting
A motion to approve the minutes of June 5, 2018 was made by Sotka, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the financial report was made by Banaszak, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- Resolution 2018-1 for Adopting Parliamentary Procedures for Town Board Meetings
A motion to adopt Resolution 2018-1 Adopting Parliamentary Procedure for Town Board Meetings was made by Sotka, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- Planning Commission Report
The Planning Commission reviewed 3 certified survey maps from Jeff Lieuwen from Kamp’s Realty for Report for July.
- Review & approval of Land Surveys
A certified survey map for Dan Corrao on Maple Crest Road. A motion was made by Sotka, seconded by Banaszak and carried. A certified survey map for Brian Winchell. A motion by Sotka seconded by Banaszak and carried on Beech Road. A certified survey map for Robert Schroeder on Right of Way Road. A motion was made by Banaszak, seconded by Sotka for Robert Schroeder on Right of Way and carried.
- Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
There were no liquor licenses or operator licenses for approval.
- Fire Dept Report
Don Mansfield reported only one call for the month of June. The fire dept meeting will be July 9th.
- Public Works Road Report
Richard Olive reported on the number of culverts installed, tree and brush removal, road signs were installed including horse riding signs. Repair of the trucks, grading and grass cutting on the roadsides was started again. The Town used its own trucks for the gravel hauling for the culvert installation. Road work is well on its way and should be completed by early August. Other roads will be reviewed as the summer continues.
- Northwood’s Recycling Coalition – final figures
The June 25th reported the end of the Northwood’s Recycling Coalition. The Town will continue to use the recycle site in the Village of Crivitz. A total was accumulated for the dispersal of the equipment the Coalition had purchased. The Town of Lake will contract with the Town of Stephenson.
- Recycling Meeting June 25, 2018 Approve Recycling Contract with Town of Stephenson.
A motion was made by Sotka to contract for one year with the Town of Stephenson on a per capita fee with a 90 day notice to terminate the contract, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- Blacktop Public Works & Town Hall parking lot request to bid and spec sheet for approval or item #14
Two new quotes were received were received for the blacktop for the Town Hall parking lot. The price of blacktop will be going up $5.00 per ton. A motion was made by Banaszak to table the blacktop for the parking lot for a future date, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- New Patrol Truck and 7 yard sand salt v-box replacement for approval.
Several quotes were received for a replacement patrol vehicle. Monroe Truck has a contract through the state pool. See attached quotes from 3 truck dealers.
A motion was made by Sotka to move ahead with the purchase of a new V-Box for Truck 202 and a purchase of a new patrol truck with an anticipated date of early October. Banaszak will contact the dealers on prices for both pieces of equipment from the same dealer. Attached were the quotes received from Olson, Monroe and Casper. A motion was made by Sotka to purchase the patrol truck from Monroe, seconded by Banaszak and carried. A motion was made by Sotka to purchase the v-box from Olson unless the quote was less from Monroe, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- LP Propane quotes for 2018-19 year for approval
A quote of $1.25 from CHS Larsen and Country Vision a quote of $1.249 from August 1 to May 31.
A motion was made by Sotka to contract with Country Vision for the $1.249 for the 2018-19 LP season, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- Building Permit report for 2nd quarter, 2018 (information only)
Attached is a copy of the second quarter building permit reports from Jane Meissner
- Audit report 2017 approval
A motion was made by Sotka to approve the 2017 audit report, seconded by Banaszak and carried.
- Payment for Assistant Fire Dept position (information only per Fire Dept Handbook)

Matt Sokul commented on a good job for the repair of Hardwood Lane.
