Thursday June 6, 2019 Special Town Board Meeting

9:30 a.m. Special Town Board Meeting

  1. Call to order.

     The meeting was called to order by Dan Banaszak. Present was Cory Sotka, Dan Banaszak and Linda Tarmann. Absent was Travis Mueller.

  1. Approval of agenda.

     A motion to approve the agenda was made by Cory Sotka, seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.

  1. Award Chip Seal Bid

     Two chip seal bids were received, Fahrner Inc. and Scott Construction. The bids were reviewed and only one bid met the specifications that were requested in the advertised bid request. A motion to accept and award the chip seal bid with the elimination of Hilldale Road to Scott Construction for $160,600.00 was made by Cory Sotka, seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.

  1. Award Road Construction Bid

     One road construction bid was received from Richlen Excavating. The bid was reviewed as per the advertised bid request. A motion was made to accept and award the road construction bid from Richlen Excavating for $64,317.00 by Cory Sotka, seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.

  1. Approve certified survey map.

     A certified survey map was received from Jeff Lieuwen from Rob Kamp’s Surveying for a parcel division for Dan and Tina Welty. A motion was made to approve the certified survey map by Cory Sotka, seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.

  1. Correspondence     

      There was no new correspondence.

  1. Adjourn     

     A motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 a.m. was made by Cory Sotka, seconded by Dan Banaszak and carried.
