6:30 p.m. Finance Town Board Meeting to review financial reports
The Town Board (Banaszak, Mueller, Sotka and Tarmann) reviewed the financial statements and adjourned at 6:40 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance
- Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Banaszak. Present was Banaszak, Mueller, Sotka, Tarmann and members of the public.
- Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- Approval of meeting minutes from July 2, 2019 Regular Town Board Meeting
A motion to approve the minutes from July 2, 2019 was made by Sotka, seconded by Mueller and carried.
- Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the vouchers #22707-22759, void #22695 for $80615.51, EFT for $83,076.56 and Deposits of $129,175.31 for all accounts by Sotka, seconded by Mueller and carried.
- Review of Safety Meeting

- Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators) Picnic License approval for Marinette County Canine Partners, Inc.
A motion to approve the one day Picnic License for Marinette County Canine Partners was made by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- Planning Commission Report
There was not a planning commission report.
- Review & approval of Land Surveys
There was not any certified land surveys to approve.
- Fire Dept Report
No fire department report.
- Fire Inspection report updates for local businesses
Fire Chief Caylor inspected Backwater Bar & Grill is now compliant at the time of the second inspection.
- Public Works Report
Rick Olive reported on the Public Works department including brushing, grading, storm cleanup, grass cutting and patching roads. The Marinette County requested the Town of Lake to not reconstruct Loomis Road until they get the majority of County G road work done. Then the Town will be able to work on Loomis Road. All culverts except one on Loomis Road are installed. Chip sealing will begin next week.
- Part-time Public Works employee position/snowplowing, etc
A motion to request applications for Part-time Public personnel for the upcoming snow plowing season and as needed throughout the year was made to increase the pay rate to $20/hour. The adv will be in the paper October 1, 2019.
- Road Work/Construction Update/WISLR workshop update
The Chairman and the Clerk went to a WISLR workshop in Kimberly sponsored by the state showing the new application and reports that will be available through the WAMS system.
- Public Comment
There was no public comment. Supervisor Chairman reported as the representative for Lake Noquebay Rehabilitation is having a lot of progress. There was an ATV meeting in Wausaukee and had a large crowd attending with a lot of discussion on the rules of ATV use and Marinette County website
- Correspondence – Next Regular Town Board meeting date Tuesday September 3, 2019
The Town of Lake Recycling Grant application is due October 1, 2019. M&M sent the Town information on a donation was made to the Town from the American Legion Auxiliary for $50.00. The Crivitz Rescue Squad, the Bay Area Paramedics and the Emergency Rescue Squad applied for EMS funding which included the population served in the Town of Lake. The management letter from the auditors Unger and Walters, S.C. was received and returned. The cost of the audit for 2018 will be $4,600. The Workers Compensation audit was completed for 2018 based upon the claims activity. The Town will be receiving a dividend of $556.00. Jane Meissner submitted the second quarter building permit report.
- Closed session: Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1)(a) Personnel. The Board may reconvene to open session to take any action.
A motion to go to closed at 7:50 p.m. was made by Sotka, seconded by Banaszak and carried. A roll call vote was taken Banaszak yes, Mueller yes, Tarmann yes and Sotka abstaining.
- Reconvene into open session and take any action.
The Town of Lake Board reconvened into open session at 8:23 p.m.
The date for interviews will be August 13, 2019 starting at 6:00 p.m.
A motion to set a Special Meeting of the Town of Lake for interviews for the Public Works position on Tuesday August 13, 2019 starting at 6:00p.,mto be held in closed session was made by Mueller, seconded by Banaszak and carried.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mueller, seconded by Banaszak at 8:24 p.m. and carried.
