6:45p.m. Planning Commission meeting to review Land Surveys

7:00 p.m. Regular Town Board Meeting Agenda

 

  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present was Sotka, Mueller, Tarmann and members of the public. Absent Banaszak.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion was made to approve the agenda by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.

  1. Approval of meeting minutes from February 4, 2020 Regular Town Board Meeting

A motion to approve the February 4, 2020 Regular Town Board Meting by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.

  1. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers

A motion to approve the financial report with vouchers $23133-23201 for $1,598,570.01, deposits of $1,751,803.93 and EFT $ 2232.26 was made by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.

  1. Approve debt payment

A motion to approve the debt payment for Voucher #23196 for $81,499.98 was made by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.

  1. Planning Commission Report

  1. Review & approval of Land Surveys

None

  1. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)

None

  1. Fire Dept Report

Fire Chief Caylor reported for the fire department with one truck needed to sent in for repairs. There are two tanker trucks the fire department is putting a letter of intent to replace the existing tanker trucks. There will ne a $12,000 holding fee for the tankers and will not be available until November, 2020. There were no fires to report.

  1. Fire truck purchase update

A letter will be sent before the end of the month for the intent to purchase.

  1. Update roof project

The roof project is complete as reported by Sup. Mueller.

  1. Update lighting project

Mueller electric completed the lighting projects as reported by Sup. Mueller

  1. Update for MTI control for heat and air exchange in hall/occupancy

Both the fire department and the hall projects were completed as reported by Sup. Mueller.

  1. Public Works Report

Jeremy Gross reported on the public works department with maintenance of the roads and parking lots. The roads are beginning to break up, with most of the gravel roads having ice and being sanded.

  1. Adv in Peshtigo Times for weight limits 2/26/2020

The adv was in the paper for March 3, 2020 through April 30, 2020.

  1. Change regular meeting date April 2, 2020 due to April 7, 2020 elections

A motion to approve the moving the Regular Town Board Meeting from April 7, 2020 to April 2, 2020 by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.

  1. Annual meeting April 14, 2020
  2. Correspondence, April 2, 2020 next Regular Board Meeting
  3. Public Comment 
    A Request to add an ordinance for not allowing any further sludge to be spread in the Town of Lake.
  4. Closed session: Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1)(a) Personnel. The Board may      reconvene to open session to take any action.

Roll call vote Mueller, yes Sotka yes 7:35 p.m.

  1. Reconvene into open session

The meeting was called to order at 7|:40 p.m.

  1. Motion for action

A motion to approve a $1.50 per hour raise effective Monday March 2, 2020 by Mueller, seconded Sotka and carried

  1. Adjourn     

A motion to adjourn at 7:47 p.m. by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.
