May 5, 2015 6:30 pm Business Meeting

And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting

Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.

Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 8 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Mueller made a motion to approve the agenda, 2^nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Mueller to approve the minutes of April 9, 2015, Regular Board Meeting and April 21 Special Meeting 2^nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $322,289.28. Checks issued were #19966 -20009 for $12,515.60, check 19970 was voided. Electronic debit totaled $2,615.31. Tarmann made motion to approve the financial report, 2^nd by Mueller, carried.

Road Bids were opened for Birchwood Road from County W to County GG:  

     Scott Construction $140,680 wedging with 1 1/4 inch cold mix with chip seal

     Northeast Asphalt $176,815 hot mix

Mueller made motion to accept the bid from Scott Construction for cold mix with the option that all or part of the chip seal could be eliminated if the budget does not allow it. Shouldering gravel would not be included. 2nd by Tarmann, carried.

Motion by Tarmann to pay Town Officials who work for the town in an emergency situation the same as other part time workers at $14.50 per hour. 2^nd by Mueller, carried.

Motion by Tarmann to hire Cole Kaufman to cut the lawn for the town at $10.00 per hour, 2^nd by Mueller, carried.

Motion by Tarmann to accept the estimate of Richlen Excavating to scarify blacktop, cut back the shoulders, haul breaker on the south end of Birchwood Road cost of $7,151 , 2^nd by Mueller, carried.
