- Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Banaszak.

- Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Sotka, seconded by Mueller and carried.
- Approval of meeting minutes from February 2, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting
A motion to approve the minutes from February 2, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with Vouchers #23774-23822 for $1,374,384.00. EFT for F&M Bank for $1,773.16, Deposits for F&M Bank of $1,384673.55, Deposits for LGIP of $47.94 and EFT from LGIP to F&M Bank of $1,185,000.00 made by Mueller, seconded by Sotka and carried.
- Update on Refinancing Debt Service
The refinancing has been approved by the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands. The new amortization schedules will be out after March 22, 2021.
- Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
None to report.
- Planning Commission Report
Nothing to report.
- Motion to approve Certified Survey Maps
None to report.
- Mohawk Resort/Trailer update/Building inspection
We received a call from Representative Jeff Mursau’s office concerning a mobile home that Mohawk Resort would like to bring into the park. We explained the process and requirements of building inspections, and when brought into the park inspected by the building inspector. There are 3 updates needed in order to approve the building for inspections. We then received a letter from the WI Housing Alliance on the Mobile Home Ordinance wording that is not legal. We explained that ordinance is being revised and be updated this year.
- Fire Dept Report
Chief Caylor gave the Fire Department report on the repair of some of the fire trucks. The Fire Department will be having their appreciation dinner on March 20, 2021. The Town Board is invited to attend.
- Update on Fire Dept Tanker Truck
Chief Caylor reported that the Fire Department will be able to pick up the new Tanker truck the end of March, 2021.When they receive the new truck, they will be putting the old tanker truck out on bids for sale.
- Public Works Report
Jeremy Gross gave a report for the month of February including snow plowing, salting and sanding. Repairing and maintaining the equipment, disposal of items found in the ditches of the Township.
Road bans will be in place on March 8 at 12:00 p.m., 2021 until the end of April, 2021 unless otherwise noticed. We also our bridge inspections for Noquebay bridge and Ferndale bridge and received the invoice for the costs for the inspections. The cost for Ferndale Bridge is shared with Grover Township and we are billed 50% of the fee.
- DSL Phone line for internet service through Centurylink Fire Dept Report
We contacted Centurylink for the cost of getting a new line for internet. The monthly cost for the internet connection for a two-year contract will be $199.98 per month. Currently the internet is through Hughes net and is $111.15 per month. The increase in cost would be $1,333.80 per year. A motion to approve getting the internet connection through Centurylink was made by Sotka, seconded by Mueller and carried.
- MTI service contract quotation for shop gas detector, air handling and all furnaces and exhaust for both buildings
MTI gave proposal 20-8688-1 for $6,560 for the project of the CO & NO2 gas detection, and proposal #20-8541 for preventative maintenance of the furnaces for $6,544 which had been approved on the February 2, 2021.
- Municipal court – adding Village of Wausaukee to contract and meeting on March 8, 2021
There will be a meeting for adding the Village of Wausaukee to the current contract for Municipal Judge and Municipal Court. There will also be a review of the Municipal Court and Judge’s salary at this meeting. The meeting will be at the Town of Stephenson Town Hall.
- Barking Dogs on Spur Road
A resident of the Town of Lake came to visit with Dan Banaszak concerning the dogs that bark all day. We will be bringing it to the attention of the owners, including a citation with the violations for not having a kennel license for their dogs and proof of vaccinations for rabies. If necessary, we will contact the sheriff’s department for delivering the citation.

- Reminder the date for April Regular Town Board Meeting is April 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. due to April 6, 2021 Spring Elections
- Public Comment
Chief Caylor requested a flood light off the fire department for the fueling station for refueling the fire trucks at night. Sup. Mueller said he would check into getting the light installed for the Town.
- Correspondence
Lake Noquebay Rehabilitation is requesting a Town Board Member to be on their Board as a representative from the Town of Lake. It would involve decision making for the business of the Lake Noquebay Rehab.
