Pledge of Allegiance

  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Roll call.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried.

  1. Open bids for fire tanker truck.

There was one bid for the fire tanker truck that was made by Middle Inlet Fire Chief. The amount of the bid was for $ 8,500 which is lower than the minimum bid request.

  1. Motion to award bid for tanker truck.

A motion to award the bid to Middle Inlet Fire Department, Jon Klueskens for the bid of $8,500 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried.

  1. Update on Rustic Road quotes.

The Town of Lake received two quotes for repair for the Rustic Road portion of Right of Way Road beyond the “Y” and the shortcut by the “Y”. The quotes were received from Road King for 17,300 and the quote from Richlen was $ 23, 400. The proposed roadwork will be done later this fall, if the quotes are good for that date. The intersection for Right of Way Road/Pioneer Road, Pioneer/Cty Rd G and Birchwood/Cty Rd G have a need for more signage and possibly rumble strips before the stops on both ways on the intersection.

  1. Correspondence.

Obscenity Ordinance question was brought to the Board’s attention and will take a look at our Ordinance Book. Information on a Zoom meeting for ARPA funding is for Thursday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m. A question was asked on how much the cost of a CSM would be for a parcel of property.

A motion was made by Hanson to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 p.m. and carried.
