- Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka

- Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Audit 2020 (phone conference)
A phone conference with the Audit firm KerberRose was initiated at 7:05 p.m. Karen Kerber proceeded to explain the Town of Lake’s financial position ending December 31, 2020.
A motion was made to approve the 2020 Audit report as presented by KarenRose by Nelson, seconded by Hansen and carried. 3-0
- Approval of meeting minutes from September 7, 2021 Planning Commission Meeting, September 7, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting and September 13, 2021 Board of Review Special Town Board Meeting
A motion to approve the minutes from September 7, 2021 Planning Commission Meeting September 7, 2021 Regular Town Board Meeting and September 13, 2021 Board of Review Special Town Board Meeting was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with the vouchers #24113-24145 for $22,204.62, deposits for $1,431.21, EFT for $2,007.47, transfer to LGIP Act#4 Grant funds from LGIP Act#1 for $59,085.40 and interest deposits for $25.70 for the month of August LGIP accounts was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 3-0
- Approval Rescue Squad for 2022
A motion to approve the 2021-22 Rescue Squad contract for $ was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Approval Redistricting Map from 2020 Census
A motion to approve the 2020 Redistricting Map for the Town of Lake was made by Nelson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Approval of Salt Contract with Morton Salt 2021-2022
The salt contract with Morton Salt company for 75 tons of salt was presented to the Board at a cost of $72.12 per ton and a total cost of $5163.07 for 71.59 tons of salt. A motion to approve the Morton Salt contract purchase was made Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Approval of Recycle Contract with the WI DNR for 2022
A grant was submitted to the WI DNR for the 2021-2022 recycling year in the name of the Town of Lake. Last year the grant amount received was $1,253.17 and it is anticipated that the Town should receive approximately the same amount. A motion to approve the 2022 Recycling grant with the WI DNR was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-9
- Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
A motion to approve an Operating License for Kendra Kuffel for Loopy’s In Loomis was made by Sotka, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0
- Planning Commission Report
Bob Burmek said there was nothing new to report. Sotka explained that in speaking with Hugh Guy, Surveyor, that he had surveyed the lot on the north side of Mohawk dam. He stated that he would mark the survey lines.
- Fire Dept Report
Chief Caylor reported for the fire department. They had some repairs for the equipment and are interested in updating the Kobota with a similar vehicle. He reported that the fire department had 32 calls as of September 30, 2021. The fire department breakfast is October 24, 2021 at 7:00 am. There will be a gun raffle with 500 tickets that are almost gone as of tonight.
- Approval Fire Department list of Volunteer Fire Fighters
A motion was made to approve the Town of Lake Volunteer Fire Department list by Sotka, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Public Works Report
Chairman Sotka gave the public works report for Jeremy Gross. The chipper was repaired and the previously approved was not purchased because of an issue with clogging.
A motion was made to approve the public work report and the 2021 road work report by Nelson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
- Approval Garbage pickup dates
A motion to approve the 2021-2022 garbage pickup dates was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0
- JNS garbage pickup
JNS requested the Town Board to speak to the fact that there are garbage bags that are overweight and the fact they should not use the black garbage bags.
- Update 2021 road work
- Update of survey on property by Mohawk Road
- Municipal Court for obscenity signage
The Municipal Judge stated the property owner should be the one who will receive the citation for the sign.
There is an issue with a noise issue also in the Town of Lake.
- Set date for Budget Workshop date October 18, 2021
A motion for the Budget Workshop will be October 18, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0
- Set date for Budget Hearing November 9, 2021
A motion for the Budget Hearing for November 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. was made by Sotka, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0

A Marinette County township meeting with be at the Pound Town Hall on October 22, 2021.
