  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of meeting minutes from February 1, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting,

A motion to approve the minutes for February 1, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers

A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Financial Report for Voucher #24360-24409 for $937,865.26, deposits of $1,092,439.82, EFT for $1,722.20, deposits for LGIP of $35.70, and cash transfers of $850,000.00 was made by Sotka, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Rural Insurance update to Town’s additional coverage for insurance policy

Jim Pickett of Rural Insurance reviewed the additional changes the Town Board had directed him to get costs for coverage and any additional recommendations (see attached sheet for individual items) for a cost of $ 357.00 for coverage that included missed items from the original insurance policy effective from 02-01-2022 through January 31, 2023.

A motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson to add the additional coverage for a cost of $357.00 and at the time of renting equipment to add to our insurance policy and carried 3-0-0.

  1. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)

None to report.

  1. Planning Commission Report

None to report.

  1. Approval of CSM

None to report

  1. Fire Dept Report

Nothing to report.

  1. DNR information on junkyard and permits

Chairman Sotka contacted the DNR concerning a property owner that had multiple vehicles and other junk that is being hauled on to private property. In the future any information will be brought to the Town Board.

  1. Information and discussion concerning adjacent property

Chairman Sotka wanted to review with the Town Board the possibility of purchasing additional property for possible expansion in the future for Town acquisition at the April, Annual Town Meeting.

  1. Public Works Report

Jeremy Gross gave the Public Works report for the month of February.

  1. Riverview Road work update

Jeremy Gross will set up a schedule meeting with a contractor for fixing the ditching on Riverview Road.

  1. Road signs

A motion was made to replace 10 road signs with new signage per year until all the road signs are replaced by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Change date for the Regular Town Board Meeting of April 5, 2022 due April 5, 2022 elections.

A motion to move the April 5, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting to April 6, 2022 due to Spring Elections was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Set date for Annual Town Board meeting

A motion to set the date of April 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. for the Annual Meeting was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0
