  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0

  1. Approval of meeting minutes from March 1, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting,

A motion to approve the March 1, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0

  1. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers

A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with vouchers #24410-24464 for $43570.66, deposits for F&M Bank for $1,252.76, for deposits LGIP $64.99 and EFT for $1,912.99 was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0

  1. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)

None to report.

  1. Planning Commission Report

Paperwork for the holding tank permits for Mike and Kam Dama was approved by the County and the proper permits were issued for the holding tanks.

  1. Approval of CSM
  2. A motion to approve the holding tank permits for Mike and Kam Dama made by Sotka, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0
  3. Fire Dept Report

A fire department report was given by Chief Caylor. A request to inquire about an updated keyboard for on the fuel pumps to record fuel by truck. He also reported Engine 710 had to be repaired and also Engine 740 lighting was upgraded. DOT inspection was also completed on both Engines. Pomosal also ran tests for the ratings for water pressures. Engine 715 also needs repairs and Pomosal will be doing the repair work.

  1. Public Works Report

Jeremy Gross from Public Works gave the March maintenance report for the Town of Lake. He also presented a road maintenance list of the roads that need repairs and estimates. A workshop will be held on April 12, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

  1. Riverview Road work update

Jeremy Gross reported on the Riverview Road ditch and shoulder repair that was completed by Richlen Excavating. This was a fix to the roadwork from 2021 road projects.

  1. WTA 2022/23 Dues

A motion to join the WTA for 2022-23 with dues for $1059 to be paid in June, 2022 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0

  1. Rural Insurance update to Town’s additional coverage for insurance policy

Information on the Policy showed the additional coverage was added to the Rural Insurance policy for the year 2022.

  1. Info holding tanks on Birchwood Rd

Information was given to the Town Board on holding tanks installed on Birchwood Road. Proper permits and signatures were on file for the Town of Lake.

  1. Resolution for Annual Meeting Agenda – Explore purchasing real estate

A motion was made to include Resolution to explore purchasing real estate on the Annual Meeting Agenda for April 19, 2022 by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0

  1. Resolution for Annual Meeting Agenda – Policy for sale and disposition of unneeded personal property

A motion was made to include the Resolution to sell unused personal property on the Annual Meeting Agenda for April 19, 2022 was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0

  1. Discussion of public signage

Jeremy Gross will be purchasing 10 new signs for replacement on the roads.

Information for WTA Marinette County Unit Meeting is for April 21, 2022 at Town of Amberg Town Hall.
