Pledge of Allegiance

  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Roll call.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Review mobile home ordinance workshop

Discussion of the mobile home ordinance asking for a ninety-day moratorium was reviewed. Attorney Coggins would be asked to write the moratorium for the Town Board. There was also discussion on what type of septic system was recorded with the County for the Condo’s and Mobile home park. A suggestion for the Town Board to talk with Harding Septic and ask him to point the Town Board in the direction of obtaining information on the septic system setup.

  1. Action on mobile home ordinance

A motion was made by Nelson to write a moratorium for 90 days on the mobile home ordinance, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Review of manufactured homes building inspection reports and variance form

The Town Board reviewed the variances submitted by Amanda Popp for replacing 3 manufactured homes.

  1. Motion concerning variance for mobile homes

A motion to approve the 2004 Fairmont manufactured home was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 2 yes 1 no, 0 abstained. To allow the mobile home into Mohawk Home Park

A motion to deny the 1980 Liberty 14x70 manufactured was made by Nelson to deny the variance, a second was made by Hanson, and carried 3-0-0

A motion to deny the 1978 Marshfield 14x66 was made by Hanson to deny the variance to be allowed to move from one site to another site within the mobile home park, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

The two variances that were denied was based upon the condition of the home inspection reports.
