  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. was made by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Roll Call.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of meeting minutes from Planning Commission Meeting June 7, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting June7, 2022 and Special Town Board Meeting June 13, 2022.

A motion to approve the minutes form Planning Commission Meeting June 7, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting June7, 2022 and Special Town Board Meeting June 13, 2022 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers

A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with Vouchers #24567-24606 for $27332.28, deposits for F&M Bank for $2,922.70, deposits for LGIP for $59085.40 and EFT for F&M Bank for $2,536.94 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Planning Commission Report

Bob Burmek said none to report.

  1. Approval of CSMs.

None.

  1. Fire Dept Report

No report.

  1. Public Works Report

Jeremy Gross gave the public works report for June, 2022 including the maintenance of roads, ditch cutting and any other maintenance.

A motion to approve the Public Works report was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of Country Visions LP gas locked in price for 3,792 gallons at $1.949 per gallon

A motion to approve the Country Visions contract for LP gas lock price at $1.949 for 3,792 was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson, and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approve Intergovernmental Agreement for Recycling Services for 2022-2023 with the Town of Stephenson

A motion was made by Sotka to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement for Recycling Services for 2022-2023 with the Town of Stephenson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Road report

Jeremy Gross gave the road report. The crack filling was finished for the roads that were approved for $24,500.00. He felt they did a good job for the Town. In mid-July, 2022 Peshtigo Asphalt will be doing the entry and pad by the salt/sand shed and Zorn’s driveway repair. Scott Construction would be starting wedging on the road work approved for 2022 beginning the first week in July, and the chip sealing would be started the first week in August, 2022.

A motion was made by Nelson to accept the road report, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Address authority for Town Chairman and Town Clerk to file complaints to state entities and to address any deficiencies concerning water, sewer and roads at Mohawk Resort

A motion was made by Nelson to submit complaints to State Entities concerning water, sewer and roads seconded by Hanson, and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Authorize the Town of Lake to have Village Powers

A motion to approve the Town of Lake to have Village Powers by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Documentation for easement and cul-de-sac on Rivers Bend Lane from Surveyor Randy LA Plant

Sotka brought to the Town Board a request to have Surveyor Randy La Plant to do the markers on River’s Bend Lane and present information for the Town Board for clarification. A motion was made by Nelson to have Surveyor La Plant do the surveying and marking, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Public Comment

Bob Burmek asked what Village Powers means to the Town of Lake. Sotka explained that by adopting Village Powers for the Town of Lake, the Town Board would have the authority to enforce the Ordinances.

Amanda Popp questioned what complaints was the Town of Lake were going to submit to the state entities. Chairman Sotka stated the Town Board is waiting for information that was requested from the Noquebay Resort, LLc.in the letter that was sent to her.

  1. Correspondence

Attorney Harvey forwarded the Title 5 Public Safety of the Town of Lake Code of Ordinances first draft for the Town Board to review.

A motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:13 p.m. was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
