Pledge of Allegiance

  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Roll call.

  1. Approval of agenda

A motion to approve the agenda with the correction the meeting was actually Monday, August 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Approve Election Official for 2022-2023

A motion was made by Nelson to approve Annessa Kaufman as an election official, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Operator License for Loopy’s in Loomis

A motion to approve Cynthia Funmaker for an operator License for Loopy’s in Loomis was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Change order to Road Work 2022

A change order for the road work bid for Riverview Road by Scott Construction for Riverview Road for $9,870 for additional wedging near Two Mile Road and a change order to repair black top on Two Mile Road where 2 culverts were replaced for $6,600. A motion was made by Nelson to approve Scott Construction to do the additional road work for $16,470, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Review of insurance for public works employee

The Board reviewed the insurance options for the Public Works employee, and Chairman Sotka will contact Jim Pickett after the meeting to get clarification.

  1. Compose letter for fire and rescue for mobile home parks and campgrounds

After meeting with the Planning Commission concerning for fire and rescue, the Town Board decided to add this item to the Regular Town Board meeting agenda for September 6, 2022.

  1. Correspondence

Kerber & Rose submitted the audit books and will not be making a formal presentation because they felt there wasn’t any concerns to present to the Town Board if the Town Board unless so asked.

Randy La Plant, surveyor said he will be taking a look at the access to the Peshtigo River in the next two weeks for the Town of Lake with a 60-foot public access.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Nelson at 7:19, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0
