Pledge of Allegiance

  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sotka at 6:08 p.m.

  1. Roll call.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Hanson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Information on Town property easement and turnaround.

Bob Burmek gave a report stating the land was Evans Land Development. State Statute S236.16.3a on public access at least 60’ wide access to a navigable waterway. The access is marked with orange fiberglass stakes for easy visibility. Currently there is no turn around for the school bus. The Town Board will contact Tom White concerning the bus route extending for the families who live on River’s Bend Lane. After we get advice from Attorney Coggins, the Town Board will determine any action needed for public safety.

  1. Approve wage for 2022-23 for Public Works employee

A motion was made by Hanson to approve the $2.00 wage increase for Jeremey Gross effective on September 23, 2022, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Resolution to join Income Protection Insurance with ETF

A motion was made by Hanson to approve the Resolution for Continuation Insurance program with ETF, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Rescue Squad 2023 contract cost information

A motion to approve the 2023 Crivitz Rescue Squad Contract for $19, 225.00 was made by Hanson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0

  1. Letters to individuals issued citations, special meetings and land encroachment

The Town Board will be written letters to the persons who met with Town Board officials on September 9, 2022 at their individual properties and the Town Board has a response from Attorney Coggins.

  1. Correspondence.

The Town has received the contract to collect property and personal property tax from Marinette County.

There is correspondence for delinquent property for sale by Marinette County.

  1. Adjourn

A motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:54 p.m. by Hanson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 2-0-0
