- Call to order.
Chairman Sotka called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

- Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda with the change to move item 13 to item 5 was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
- Approval of meeting minutes from Special Town Board Meeting September 6, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting September 6, 2022, Special Town Board Meeting September 9 & cancelled 10, 2022, and Special Town Board Meeting September 21, 2022.
A motion to approve the minutes from September 6, 2022, Regular Town Board Meeting September 6, 2022, Special Town Board Meeting September 9 & cancelled 10, 2022, and Special Town Board Meeting September 21, 2022 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0
- Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with vouchers #24718-24775 for $276,494.33, EFT at F&M Bank for $2,077.60, Deposits at F&M Bank for $125401.64, Deposits at LGIP for $186,196.69, and EFT at LGIP for $125,000.00 was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
- Planning Commission Report
Bob Burmek made a recommendation to approve the CSM for Kuchta.
- Approval of CSMs
A motion to approve the CSM for Thomas Kuchta on Cty Rd GG and Sunny view Lane was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0
- Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
None to report
- Fire Dept Report
Chief Caylor gave the monthly Town of Lake Fire Department report. The fire dept will be trading in the Kobota for a Polaris. They will be updating the Wiedemeier Sawmill dry hydrant with the help from Zorn Trucking. The Fire Department Breakfast will be October 23, 2022 and they will be sponsoring a gun raffle for the fund raiser event.
- Public Works Report
Chairman Sotka gave the Public Works report as Jeremy Gross was unable to attend. He listed all of the maintenance for the month of September.
- Update 2022 Road report
All road projects for 2022 have been completed.
- Update on survey for easement and cul-de-sac on River’s Bend Lane, reviews letters for follow-up for various citations and special meetings
A motion was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
- Road improvement on River’s Bend Lane
After we get the clearance of private improvements removed from the cull de sac, the Town will make plans to make it a permanent cull de sac for fire, rescue and large trucks.
- Update of the Town of Lake survey for Town Hall property
Randy La Plant will be getting the markers done for the December Regular Town Board Meeting.
- Barking dog complaint
Dan Banaszak asked the Town board check into barking dogs on Evan Lane. Also, there are some dogs at large that are running in the neighborhood. Would you also check to see if they have vaccinations and licenses for the dogs. Several neighbors attended the meeting asking for follow-up on the Ordinance concerning dogs.
- Set Ordinance Committee meeting for review of ordinances
Sotka will contact Dan Banaszak for meeting for review of the several ordinances that need to be updated and review the ordinances from Attorney Harvey.
- Star Link Satellite service for internet
Chairman Sotka suggested we get an estimate for a Star Link internet connection. There is an app for getting information on Star Link.
- Approve garbage pickup dates 2022-2023
A motion to approve the Garbage pickup dates for 2022-2023 was made by Hanson,
- Approve Marinette County property and personal tax collection service for 2023
A motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried to approve Marinette County to send tax bills and collect the tax payments for the Town of Lake. 3-00
- Set Budget Workshop date
A motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried for Budget Workshop to be held on October 11, 2022 for the 2023 fiscal year.
- Change date for November, 2022 Regular Town Meeting due to elections
A motion to change the date for the Regular Town Board Meeting to November 2, 2022 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

The dog barking needs to be taken care.
