  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda with discussion of 6&7 be item #4 was made by Nelson, seconded by Hanson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Discussion of 2023 Town of Lake road construction projects

Jeremey Gross had a list of roads for 2023 improvements. A reconstruction project of Loomis Road with two sections, a north section of 7,650’ and a south section of 5,520. An estimate would need to be gotten from a couple of paving companies. Another project that was the northern section of Spur Road to pulverize and gravel in the 2023 year would be approximately $26,000.

  1. Discussion of Aspen surfacing

Several members of the public came and asked if the paving of Aspen Road is in the Town of Lakes 5-year plan. A discussion of going to referendum to increase the tax levy for road construction that could be brought to discussion of what the mill rate increase would be for an additional $100,000. It is something that can be information for the December, 2022 Regular Town Board Meeting. It was also discussed that this information should be brought up at the April, 2023 Annual Meeting. It was also asked if the road could be graded and gravel added to the base of Aspen Road for 2023.

  1. Estimate cost for turn-a-around Rivers Bend Ln

Zorn construction suggested to leave blacktop as is and gravel the rest of the turn-a-round with an estimate for $1,700. A motion was made by Nelson to do Option #1 with Zorn Trucking for $1,700 on River’s Bend Lane cul-de-sac as a turn-a-round, Hanson seconded and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approve part-time snow plow drivers for 2022-2023 winter season

Jeremy Gross stated that the part-time persons to approve for snow-plowing are Alan Johnson, Dan Banaszak, Jason Swick, Jeff Olive and Rick Olive. There are three other persons who are filling out applications. A motion to approve the Alan Johnson, Rick Olive, Jeff Olive, Jason Swick and Dan Banaszak was made by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Discussion of ARPA grant funds for 2023

We need to discuss the use of the ARPA Funds for 2023. One suggestion was for expansion of the Town Hall, another was the Town Hall parking lot, and another was just for general road construction.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting 7:30 p.m. by Hanson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
