And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting

Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.

Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 11 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Mueller made a motion to approve the agenda, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Mueller to approve the minutes of June 2, 2015 Regular Board Meeting, June 8 and June 15 Special Meetings, 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $281,138.83. Checks issued were #20057 -20102 for $22,913.06 check 20101 was voided. Electronic debit totaled $2,316.26. Tarmann made motion to approve the financial report, 2nd by Mueller, carried.

County Supervisor Kathy Just reported on county news.

Mueller made a motion to approve an operator’s license for Kayleigh Betka for Timberline Resort Bar & Grill, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.

Mueller made a motion to approve Scott Anderson and Derek Watson as part time employees for the public works department. 2nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk was instructed to add Derek Watson to the list of eligible drivers for DOT random drug tests, Scott will be covered under his own business.

Discussed having an Employee Handbook implemented. Injury reports, safety regulations etc. Further discussion at next meeting.

Tarmann made a motion to appoint Cindy Porth and Ken Marcusen as representatives for the town on the Northwoods Recycling Coalition. 2nd by Mueller, carried.

Motion by Tarmann to approve the Purchasing Procedure for the town: Up to $500.00 Public Works can purchase at his descretion, up to $3000.00 the chairperson can approve. Anything over $3000.00 must be approved by the board. Does not include repairs. 2nd by Mueller, carried.    . 2nd by Mueller, carried.

Discussed use of warning letters before issuance of citations for the Municipal Court for Ordinance violations. Board wants the attorney to look this over first.

Motion by Tarmann to renew the contract for 2 years with Jane Meissner Nature’s Edge Inspection Agency to issue building permits and provide inspection services for the Town of Lake, carried.

Discussion about the issuance of fire numbers for The Lakehouse at Noquebay LLC. An improved and named road is necessary for fire number issuance.

Board adjourned to Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85 (1) (a) personnel.

Board reconvened to Open Session with No Action taken.
