  1. Call to order.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka

  1. Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Roll Call.

  1. Approval of agenda.

A motion to approve the agenda by Burmek, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of meeting minutes from Regular Town Board Meeting May 2, 2023 Special Town Board Meeting May 10, 2023 Special Town Board and Board of Review Special Town Board Meeting May 17, 2023, Special Town Board Meeting May 19, 2023 and Special Town Board Meeting May 24, 2023.

A motion to approve the Regular Town Board Meeting May 2, 2023 Special Town Board Meeting May 10, 2023 Special Town Board and Board of Review Special Town Board Meeting May 17, 2023, Special Town Board Meeting May 19, 2023 and Special Town Board Meeting May 24, 2023 was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers

A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report with Vouchers#25148-25211 with Voids #25176-25177 for $70,730.73, EFT for $4,459.90, Deposits at F&M Bank for $70,498.65, Deposits at LGIP Savings for $46,017.53 and EFT at LGIP for $53,112.71 by Burmek, seconded by Nelson and carried.

  1. Planning Commission Report

Nothing to report.

  1. Approval of CSMs.

Nothing to approve.

  1. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)

A motion to approve the Liquor License application and Operator Licenses was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 3-0-0 (see attached list)

  1. Fire Dept Report

Treasurer Dave Schwartz gave the fire department report.

A motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Public Works Report

Chairman Sotka gave the public works report for Jeremy Gross for work completed for the month of May, 2023. The signs that were missing from the Town were brought back and installed A motion to approve the public works report was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 3-0-0

  1. Update on 2023 road projects

No road projects to report

  1. Update on Mohawk mobile home park

Amanda Popp said that they had to take down trees, closed off some streets to accomplish the requirements for the Town for fire and safety. The roads will be completed by June 30, 2023.

  1. Update on Starlink

The Starlink system was installed and is much improved internet for reporting.

  1. Update on Town Hall Addition and Remodeling project

August 1, 2023 will be the start date for the addition of Town Hall office. The hall will be available through the month of August. The inside work will be started September. The building inspector is in the process of getting the permits ready for the Town. Jim Pickett will add the construction insurance for the months that project is in

The Town has received a grant award of $1,243 for 2023 recycling. The annual report will be due in 2024 after the year end.

  1. Change Regular Town Board Meeting Date to July 6, 2023 from July 4, 2023 due to holiday

A motion to approve the change of the Regular Town Board meeting to July 6, 2023 was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
