1. Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.
2. Pledge of Allegiance

4. Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
5. Approval of meeting minutes from Regular Town Board Meeting July 6, 2023 and July 6, 2023 Planning
Commission meeting
A motion to approve the Regular Town Board Meeting July 6, 2023 and July 6, 2023 Planning
Commission meeting was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
6. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the Treasurer’s financial report with Vouchers #25259-25286 for $108,417.27, EFTs at F&M Bank for $2,159.77, Deposits for $125667.04, Deposits at LGIP for $56,520.57 and EFT transfers at LGIP was made by Nelson, seconded by Sotka and carried. 3-0-0
7. Planning Commission Report
Nothing to report.
8. Approval of CSMs.
Nothing to report.
9. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
Timberline Resort requested 3 Operators permit to be approved. The 3 are Beth Beecher, Sylvia Fochesato and Isabell Wieting and the applications are complete. A motion to approve the operator licenses was made by Nelson, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
10. Approve One Day Picnic License
A request for a One Day Picnic License for August 19, 2023 for the Marinette County Canine Partners Fund Raiser. A motion to approve was made by Burmek, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
11. Information on LP locked in price/gallon 2023-2024 heating season at $1.549
A request to deposit $.10 per gallon for 3,900 gallons for the 2023-2024 heating season. The amount was for $390.00 to lock the price for 2023-24. A motion was made to approve was made by Sotka, seconded by Nelson and carried. 3-0-0
12. Fire Dept Report
None
13. Public Works Report
The public works remote was given by Chairman Sotka for Jeremy Gross. See attached report. A motion to approve the public works report was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
14. Creekview Road update
Chairman Sotka spoke with Eric Burmeister, Highway Commissioner, suggested a person who will be able to work on the grant for work to be done on Creekview Road.
15. Update on 2023 road projects
Completed North Lane Road improvement, 7 culverts were ordered for Loomis Road to be installed.

16. Update on Mohawk mobile home park
Sotka and Nelson reviewed the roadway that were improved as was requested by the Town Board. There are several issues that were reviewed with the Town Board. There should be an informational board large enough to view for safety services. The chairman board will call to Amanda Popp to explain the improvements and attend a meeting with the Town Board.
17. Update on Town Hall Addition and Remodeling project
Nothing to report at this meeting.
18. Auto deductible Rural Insurance
Jim Picket from Rural Insurance, is reviewing the auto deductible reimbursement for business purposes and will be getting back to the Town Board.
19. Ordinance Book update
Nothing to report. Chairman Sotka will get in contact with the Attorney Harvey about the Ordinance Book.
20. Set date for Town Board workshop
The workshop would be set for April 7, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.
21. Information dates for Open Book August 10, 2023 2-4 p.m. and Board of Review August 28, 2023 6-8 p.m.
22. Closed Session: Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1)(a) Personnel. The Board may reconvene to open session to take any action to approve any changes.

3% increase in pay ($.74), 2 additional days of personal time and life insurance through the State Plan if desired.
23. Reconvene into Open Session time: p.m. and motion for action on closed session
A motion to give Jeremy Gross a 3% raise, 2 more personal days and life insurance if he wants it, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
24. Public Comment
Ken Marcusen requested the Town Board review the approaches by the bridge on Lake Noquebay Road.
