6:00 p.m. Special Town Board Meeting

BUDGET WORKSHOP

1. Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.
2. Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
3. Roll Call.

4. Budget Workshop – discussion of 2024 Budget Town of Lake
Clerk Tarmann worked with the Town Board on the 2024 Budget for the Budget Hearing meeting including revenues, expenditures and review of a slide presentation compiled by the Clerk and Deputy Clerk Wilson.
A motion was made by Nelson to accept the financial presentation by Clerk for the Budget Hearing, seconded by Sotka and carried. 3-0-0 (see attached summary)
5. Update info on Town Hall addition/remodeling
The cement foundation is complete and the rest of the construction will start. The Chairman will contact the engineer about the west entrance.
6. Correspondence
Kathy Brandt informed the Townships that she is retiring from the Marinette County Clerk position in January, 2024.
7. Motion to Adjourn
A motion to adjourn at 8:22 p.m. was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and carried. 3-0-0
