1. Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.
2. Pledge of Allegiance

4. Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the July 2, 2024 agenda was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and motion carried 3-0-0.
5. Public Comment
None
6. Judge Miller, meet and greet
Judge Miller came to the 07-02-2024 Regular Town Board Meeting to introduce herself and speak on issues in the position that she was appointed to complete after the retirement of Judge Sequin. Judge Miller will be on the ballot for April, 2025.
7. Approval of meeting minutes from Regular Town Board Meeting June 4, 2024 and Special Town Board Meeting June 15, 2024.
A motion to approve the minutes for the Regular Town Board Meeting June 4, 2024 and Special Town Board Meeting June 15, 2024 was made by Burmek, seconded by Nelson and motion carried. 3-0-0
8. Approval of Treasurer’s financial report and vouchers
A motion to approve the financial report was made by Sotka with Vouchers #25769-25805 at F&M Bank for $38,499.36, EFT at F&M Bank for $2,178.49 and deposits at F&M Bank for $6,350.12, seconded by Nelson and motion carried. 3-0-0
9. Planning Commission Report
Nothing to report
10. Approval of CSMs.
None to approve.
11. Jeff Olive to speak to the Town Board
Jeff Olive requested that the Town Board have an order to clean up the dilapidated buildings and land where the home land site. Jeff Olive explained the situation of the parties who have ownership. The one house has been left in disrepair, and needs to be addressed as a dilapidated buildings for review by the Planning Commission. It was recommended at this time to get a certified survey.

13. Fire Dept Report
No report.
14. Public Works Report
Chairman Sotka gave Jeremy Gross’s public works report for the month of June.(attached)
15. Quote/Estimate on Salt/Sand and Cold Storage Buildings
Cory requested a quote from 2 contractors to get an idea of the cost of a new salt/sand and cold storage buildings. The building would be a 40x60’ steel and concrete with overhead doors, service door and electric. A separate sand/salt shed made with concrete slab with Texas weights and coverall top. The appraisal for the old public works building and sand/salt shed was received from the certified appraiser. There is another option to get what the cost of cement and a cover would be for the sand/salt building.
Bob Burmek made the comment that at a Public Town Meeting would be needed to present the gathered information on the project for approval.
16. Update on Town Hall Addition and Remodeling project, air conditioner and dishwasher
There are a few issues that are to be addressed before closing the contract for Krzewina Construction.
The option for the dishwasher will be to get more information on the hot water needed for use in the kitchen and the cost. The land behind the Town Hall has been made ready for top soil by Bill Zorn and the concrete slab was poured and finished with the help from Caylor Concrete. The air conditioner was installed and electrical needs to be completed for the AC.
17. August 13, 2024 Partisan Primary Election, Public testing of voting equipment and ballot is August 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. ( Information only)
