And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting
Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.
Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 7 members of the public. Supervisor Mueller was absent. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Tarmann made a motion to approve the agenda after moving #17 to # 7, 2nd by Banaszak, carried. Motion by Tarmann to approve the minutes of September 1, 2015 Regular Board Meeting and September 20, 2015 Special Meeting, 2nd by Banaszak, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $213,759.40. Checks issued were #20208 -20260 for $65,739.73 Electronic debit totaled $2,692.62. Banaszak made motion to approve the financial report, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.
Ken Marcusen reported some damage to Noquebay Road from excavation work being done and fence on old landfill on Birchwood is falling down. Kathryn Just presented 2 plat books to the board. Set meeting with Health & Human Services for next meeting at 6:45 pm.
Banaszak Motion to approve Certified Survey Map for Robert Johnson to separate a parcel into 2 parcels on Two Mile Road, an additional fire number will be required. 2nd by Tarmann, carried.
Banaszak will talk to Attorney Coggins about culvert on Chuck Sample’s property.
Tarmann made a motion to approve operator’s licenses for Ashley Uhl, Stacey Russ & Corby Coddington for The Hawk Bar & Grill. 2nd by Banaszak, carried.
Motion by Tarmann to approve Marinette County collecting our property taxes cost is the same as last year, 2nd by Banaszak, carried.
Motion by Tarmann to accept Town of Silver Cliff as a member of the Near North Municipal Court, 2nd by Banaszak, carried.
Motion by Banaszak to store sand & salt at Scott Anderson’s for this winter season only, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.
Garbage collection will be tabled until October 19 meeting.
Motion by Banaszak to take the agreement to hold harmless to each private property owner where the snow plow will turn around, 2nd by Tarmann, carried.
Health Insurance will be covered at Oct 19 Meeting.
Motion by Tarmann to approve TRIP D application for Ferndale Road and TRIP application for Hilldale Road, 2nd by Banaszak, carried. Discussion on 5 Year Road Plan, will be finalized at October 19 Meeting.
Fire Dept. was questioned about their ISO rating. The rating has not changed, the rating is still at 7. Insurance companies have changed their rates if you are more than 5 travel miles from the fire dept.
