PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
Meeting Minutes #1
1. Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.
2. Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda for November 12 2024 Budget Hearing was made by Burmek, seconded by Nelson and motion carried. 14-0-0
3. Slide presentation by Clerk/Treasurer Tarmann
A slide presentation with an explanation of the 2025 Budget for the Town of Lake was given by the Clerk/Treasurer with Revenues and Expenditures for $1,033,752. A slide presentation was given by Sotka showing the 2024 road projects completed, the roads to be scheduled for 2025, equipment currently owned by public works and vehicles and the condition of the equipment. A slide also included the bridge report and condition of the two bridges in the Town of Lake. A final update of the remodeling and addition project using the ARPA funds.
4. Presentation of 2025 Budget
The 2025 Budget was presented at the same time as the slide presentation including the 2024 for 2025 Tax Levy and highway expenditure for the 2025 fiscal year.

1. Call to order.
2. Approval of agenda.
3. Motion to approve the total highway expenditures for the Budget year 2025 pursuant to section 82.03 of Wisconsin Statutes for the amount of $250,000
A motion to approve the 2025 Highway Expenditures for $250,000 was made by Ken Marcusen, seconded by Bill Retza and motion carried. 14-0-0
4. Approve Town Election Official salaries – Chairman - $6,000 and Sup.#1 & #2 $3,000 each
A motion was to approve the salary for Chairman for $6,000, Supervisor #1 & #2 for $3,000 each was made by Ken Marcusen, seconded by Bill Retza and motion carried. 14-0-0
5. Motion to approve the 2024 Town Levy to be collected in 2025 pursuant to section 60.10(1) (a) for the amount of $637,710.00
A motion to approve the Town Levy of 2024 to be collected in 2025 for the amount of $637,710 was made by Ken Marcusen, seconded by Bill Retza and motion carried. 14-0-0
6. Motion to Adjourn
A motion to adjourn at 7:42 p.m. was made by Tom Nelson, seconded by Bob Burmek and motion carried. 14-0-0

A motion to approve the adoption the 2025 Budget Revenues and Expenditures of $1,033,752 was made by Sotka, seconded by Tom Nelson and motion carried. 3-0-0
