6:00 P.M. Special Town Board Meeting Agenda

1. Call to order.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Sotka.

2. Roll call.
Burmek __p___ Nelson __p___ Sotka __p___ Tarmann __p___

3. Approval of agenda.
A motion to approve the agenda for February 26, 2025 was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and motion carried. 3-0-0

4. Discuss responsibilities, duties, and expectations of the fire department chief and administrator
The Town Board discussed the expectations for the fire department chief

5. 2% Fire Due Audit and Information
A notice of the of2% Fire Dues audit was received and has a date of March18,2025 for the Town of Lake which received $8,159.23 for 2024. Discussion of hiring an inspector to do the fire inspections for the Town of Lake for the 13 inspections that are to be done two times a year.
Jeff Olive stated he would work with the fire chief to get reimbursement for the fire calls for home insurance and for rescue squad assists if possible.

6. Compensation
Table this item for a later date by the Town Board.

7. Swearing in of fire department chief
Kevin Gilbert was sworn in as the fire chief under oath on February 26, 2025 by Sotka.

8. Swearing in of fire department administrator
This is tabled for this meeting by the Town Board.

9. Adjourn
A motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m. was made by Nelson, seconded by Burmek and motion carried 3-0-0
