4:30 P.M. Special Town Board Meeting

1. Call to order
Sotka called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
2. Roll call

3. Approval of agenda
Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the agenda. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 3-0
4. Security System upgrades – Mike Frievalt
Mike Frievalt answered questions from the board regarding camera installation, how the system functions, and having a secured entrance. Chairman Sotka made a motion to approve the original quote from RCMF Automated Services with the addition of one additional camera for a total cost of $7,400.64. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 3-0
5. Review 2025 road construction costs and remaining budget
Clerk Wilson presented an invoice to the board from Peshtigo Asphalt, Inc. for $29,200.00, and an invoice from Northeast Asphalt, Inc. for $14,618.87. Invoices included Phase 1 of the Pioneer Road project and gravel. Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the invoices for a total $43,819.00. Seconded by Burmek. Carried 3-0.
The board discussed the remaining road work budget for 2025. The road maintenance budget balance is $146,000.00. The blacktop repair budget balance is $20,000.00. The road construction budget balance is $40,094.70
6. Additional road work projects for 2025
Jeremy Gross presented additional road work projects he recommends to the board for completion in 2025. Cut and remove trees from Island View Lane. Shouldering done by MCHD. Crackfilling up to $24,000.00 on Loomis, Riverview, Arrowhead, Island View, and Birchwood. Chipseal Noquebay, Lakeview, Oak Lane, Tipperary, Island View, and Arrowhead Lane. Wedge on both sides of the Ferndale Bridge. Wedge part of Willow Lane (corner piece; 160’x18’). Wedge section 1 of East Right of Way towards Panske Rd (500’x20’). Wedge section 1 of Right of Way Rd towards County X (close to stop sign on X 160’x18’) and section 3 of Right of Way Rd towards X (through cedar trees 300’x18’). Add gravel to old bridge and Spring Lane. These projects estimated to total approximately $155,100.00. The board discussed pulverizing Maplecrest Road and Spur Lane, but needing to borrow from next years road budget or the savings. Chairman Sotka made a motion to approve the projects discussed and pulverize Maplecrest Road and Spur Lane. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 3-0.
7. Adjourn
Supervisor Hanson made a motion to adjourn at 5:36 p.m. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 3-0.
