1. Call to order
Chairman Sotka called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

4. Approval of agenda
Supervisor Burmek made a motion to approve the agenda. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 3-0
5. Approval of meeting minutes from Ordinance Committee Meeting June 9, 2025, Planning Commission Meeting June 9, 2025, Regular Board Meeting June 9, 2025, Special Board Meeting June 24, 2025, Ordinance Committee Meeting June 24, 2025, Oridinance Committee Meeting June 30, 2025, and Special Town Board Meeting July 3, 2025. Supervisor Hanson Made a motion to approve the above meeting minutes as listed. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 3-0.
6. Approval of Treasurer’s Financial Report and vouchers
Clerk Wilson presented the financial report with vouchers #26478-26489 for $4,873.53, deposits at F&M Bank for $79,065.76, deposits at LGIP for $973.00, and EFT at F&M Bank for $2,452.67. Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the treasurer’s financial report and vouchers. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried. 3-0.
7. Public Comment
A resident presented the board with an article in the Green Bay Press-Gazette about surfing. He would like to see an ordinance to protect Lake Noquebay. Supervisor Burmek stated that a county board member is supposed to be giving more guidance at the next Lake Noquebay Rehab Meeting. Chairman Sotka stated he will plan to attend their next meeting as well so he can relay the resident’s concerns and find out more information.
8. Correspondence
Wisconsin Town’s Association sent a letter about the 2025-27 state budget, which makes significant investment in local infrastructure. The letter was included in the board’s packet for informational purposes.
9. Planning Commission Report
Supervisor Burmek gave the Planning Commission report. The commission reviewed two certified survey maps. W5790 Point Ln would split into two properties – Jeff Leiuwen
Elizabeth L Burmeister Trust, N7740 Right of Way Rd. – Hugh Guy. The planning commission recommends the board approve both of them.
10. Review & Approval of CSMs – W5790 Point Ln and Elizabeth L Burmeister
Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the certified survey maps for both W5790 Point Ln and N7740 Right of Way Rd. Seconded by Chairman Sotka. Carried 3-0.
11. W6871 Arrowhead Ln Property
Property owner and renter were present. Many of the vehicles have been removed. Currently five of the vehicles are registered. Chairman Sotka requested that they provide proof of registration of vehicles. Renter agreed to bring registrations to the town office. Hanson made a motion to revisit the unregistered vehicles on W6871 Arrowhead Ln to make sure they have been removed by the next meeting, Monday, August 11, 2025. This will have given 90 days to be in compliance. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 3-0.
12. Public Works Report
Chairman Sotak presented the Public Works Report. June work details include; cut and chipped brush hanging over the roads, met with Fire Inspector, hooked up flail mower on tractor, mowed ditches nine different days, prepared bid specs for the additional 2025 road work projects. Additional works completed included in the board’s packet.
13. 2025 Road Report
Chairman Sotak gave the 2025 Road Report. Phase 1 of Pioneer Road Project is complete. Phase 2 has started. The remainder of the 2025 road projects have been decided and are currently out for bid.
14. Fire Department Report
One lift assist. Fundraiser this Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 11:00am-5:00pm. Bucket raffles will end at 4:00pm. Marinette County has waived the parking fee for the day. Radio replaced in engine 710. Attended the parade with three trucks.
15. Ordinance Committee Report
Supervisor Hanson reported the Ordinance Committee met many times. They reviewed the entire ordinance book and the updates that had been prepared. The committee met with Attorney Harvey on June 30, 2025. He has taken all notes and updates and will prepare a first draft ordinance book. The board would like to see it in pdf form as well as book form.
16. Review & Approval of Business Licensing (Liquor & Operators)
None
17. Delmore Consulting 2025 PASER Service Agreement
Supervisor Hanson made a motion to table the PASER Service Agreement until the August Meeting. Seconded by supervisor Burmek. Item laid on the table.
18. Propane Contract
An advertisement was put in the Peshtigo Times seeking propane bids for the heating season.
19. Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association
Chairman Sotka made a motion to join the Wisconsin Municipal Clerk’s Association for $50.00, increasing the second year to $60. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 3-0.
20. Deputy Clerk position
Linda Tarmann tendered her resignation on July 1, 2025. The town is seeking a Deputy Clerk
21. Adjourn
Supervisor Burmek made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:43pm. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 3-0.
