February 4, 2016 6:30 pm Business Meeting

And 7:00 pm Regular Board Meeting

Business Meeting: Discussed monthly expenditures.

Regular Board Meeting called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 7:00 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, Supervisor Mueller, Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and 4 members of the public. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Mueller made motion to approve the agenda after deletion of #7 Fire Dept, MABIS 2^nd by Tarmann, carried. Motion by Mueller to approve the minutes of January 5, 2016, Regular Board Meeting and January 11 & 18 Special Meetings, 2^nd by Tarmann, carried. Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski reported the checking account had a balance of $769,301.41. Checks issued were #20427-20473 for $587,269.07 and electronic debit of $3524.88. Deposits of $935,911.33 including Property Taxes. Tarmann made motion to approve the financial report, 2^nd by Mueller, carried.

Ken Marcusen asked about the fire pond on Pioneer Rd which is not being used at this time.

Discussed placing a new Public Works building at the present site by Loopy’s. Discussed different options, wash bay, holding tank, size of the lot.   Consensus was for building at the Town Hall site rather than the site by Loopy’s.

Motion by Tarmann to pay the yearly payment to the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands for the loan on the Freightliner truck and the generator for the amount of $32,017.00. 2^nd by Mueller, carried.
