           SPECIAL BOARD MEETING with the Planning Commission

           Meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Banaszak at 6:40 pm, present were Chairman Banaszak, Supervisor Tarmann, and Clerk/Treasurer Chaikowski and Cory Sotka, Ken Marcusen of the Planning Commission, Bill Retza was tardy, Mel Raatz of R & R Assessing, and 2 members of the public.

             Chairman Banaszak discussed warning that was delivered to Dale Eisner property for public nuisance and violation of town ordinances, they have 30 days to clean up.            

           Discussed difference between campground and mobile home park. Regulations for mobile home parks have not been enforced by the town along with the fees per parcel to have a mobile home park. Condo lots at Mohawk Resort are another issue, some have individual owners and some are still rented through the parking permit fee system. Discussion on movement of any mobile home into or within the town ship needs a building permit and inspection. Changes in parking permits for mobile home parks are to be reported every month. Safety issues within the parks, lack of fire and rescue protection need notification to park owners and residents. Inspection of any unit brought into the township or being moved within the township is absolutely necessary. Mobile Home Park license as it stands needs to be enforced along with the annual inspection. Attorney Coggins will be contacted to find out if we can start enforcing these ordinances.        

           Planning Commission & Board will meet again January 11, 2016 at 6:30PM to continue to evaluate this.  Meeting adjourned at 8:21PM.
